Lots of us are trying to be good and religious enough for God. The bold truth is that Jesus wasn’t "religious" enough for some of the people of His day.
We can keep it real before God (no pretense) without compromising His Word. He won’t be offended or disappointed with us. Having a relationship with God is not about pretending it’s about our real need for Him.
