On the Road Again…

well i am off to sunny florida again tomorrow. i am looking forward to seeing the other Christian Television Network Station Managers.

we are all meeting in Fort Myers and we’ll have an opportunity to see the WRXY station. they recently completed a brand new television studio and I am very excited about the opportunity to see it for the very first time. Christian Television Network is a very blessed ministry and I’m honored to be a part. we bring the gospel into homes across America and every single day we hear from people whose lives are forever changed as a result of Christian TV.

just today i received a handwritten note from gayle. she’s been writing me off and on for two years. when she first wrote she was an alcoholic in deep depression. over the last two years she’s committed her life to Christ. slowly but surely her transformation began to unfold…..she told me today that she’s completely sober and the desire to drink was completely gone. that’s miraculous. reports like that fuel my faith and encourage me to remain faithful.

as i do the last minute packing and preparations i will remind myself of gayle’s note. notes like gayle’s are the most rewarding part of ministry.

i also look forward to seeing the other station managers. it’s wonderful to see them again - to share - to listen to how God is moving in their areas and what He’s doing in the lives of their viewers.

the last few weeks i’ve spent a lot of time “on the road again”. it’s fun, it’s exhausting……but whether i am on the road or at home - i am thankful. thankful to God for what He’s done in my life. thankful to God for Christian Television - thankful to God for gayle and the countless thousands just like her — that once knew the deep pain of addiction and have now been set free !!!

i am praying for you and yours. with Jesus impossible is NOTHING.
