How much weight did you lose this week?

this is a common question for those on the right sizing your life weight loss journey.

i still remember my first week’s weigh in.  i lost a whopping 1.6 pounds.  i was so disappointed.  other in my group lost 4-5 pounds.  if you weighed in today or t his week and the results weren’t what you hoped for - do not despair.

go back to the clearing the clutter section in your RSYL book or last week’s BLOG.  encourage yourself in the Lord.  remind yourself of God’s promises to see you through.  certainly, a RSYL weight loss journey involves developing discipline and changing habits.  but the foundation of this journey must be spiritual.  your thought life and inner person must be renewed in the goodness and truth of God in order to make lasting and permanent changes.

meditate on scripture and select one area in which you’d like to change.  this may be portion sizes or healthier eating selections.  make that choice.   pray on it.  encourage yourself and then implement.

right sizing your life requires discipline and  God wants to help you add this skill to your life.
